Prayer of Discernment

Please pray this Prayer of Discernment daily as we go through the process of reimagining Christ Church.

God, our Creator, you have a plan for every congregation. You hold out to us a future full of hope. Give to us the wisdom of your Spirit, so we can see the shape of your plan in the gifts you have given us, in the circumstanes of our lives, and in the needs of our community. Give to us the freedom of your Spirit to seek you with all our hearts and to choose your will above all else, so that what we imagine for Christ Church's future will be in accordance wih your divine plan, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

At Christ Church, all baptized Christians are welcome to partake in communion.

Pray for Christ Episcopal Church Mexia as we begin the Reimagining Church process.

Pray for our Nation: the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of our government.

Remember the elderly, lonely, abused, and forgotten of our society.
